It was a busy week for us as we were also featured as a Chicago Tech company to keep an eye on, by CBS 2. Dealradar is the one to watch, and we hope you’re watching us too. Though we’re based in Chicago, we’re in 75 cities throughout the U.S., Canada, the UK and Australia. We often hear from Dealradar members asking how long it takes to receive a voucher for their purchase from a Daily Deal site. Please remember that each site we list operates and processes your purchases independently of Dealradar.com, so the process and timing expectations can vary. Here's some general guidance.
First, check the terms and FAQs of the Daily Deal site before making a purchase. Typically, you'll receive your voucher for the product or service within 24-48 hours of checkout. This time window allows the site to clear credit card payments and document all valid voucher purchases for the sponsoring merchant.
If you don't receive your voucher within the time specified by the site we suggest that you do the following:
1) Check your spam folder. This may seem obvious, but many people forget that even if they've registered with and purchased from a site, spam filters can be aggressive and will often snag emails you actually want.
2) If it's not there, contact the site by e-mail or phone. If you don't get a live person, leave a message indicating the issue and making it clear that you will dispute the charge if you don't receive the voucher within a certain amount of time.
3) If you still don't receive the voucher or at least a prompt response, -- for example within a day or two of your inquiry -- you should consider contacting your credit card issuer and disputing the charge.

Last week was a busy week in the local ‘Deal A Day’ space. We kept expanding our global footprint by adding Manchester and Birmingham in the UK, with Wahada, Groupola, and MyCityDeal. We’ve also added Vancouver and Halifax in Canada, with StealTheDeal having an offer in both cities.
