Meet the team leaders behind Dealradar

Dealradar is based in Chicago, hometown of the daily deals explosion. Our team brings deep expertise in online and multi-channel advertising, commerce, software development and strategy. Our goal is to make Dealradar the user-friendliest site on the internet.

Dan Hess, Co-founder & CEO has a 20-year track record of building successful technology-enabled businesses and products. Most recently Dan was President of Thought Motor, an interactive strategy consultancy. Previously he was VP Marketing & Strategy at Tribune Interactive, a leading network of news, entertainment and e-commerce sites. In 1999 he joined comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) as part of the original executive team that drove the company from startup to $60MM in revenue. Prior to comScore Dan held various sales, marketing and operations positions at Information Resources, Inc., including SVP of the firm's nascent e-commerce division in 1998.

Greg Hart, Co-founder & CTO is a pioneer in the field of creating interactive advertising, marketing and ecommerce infrastructure. Prior to conceiving and building the technology behind Dealradar, Greg was co-founder and CTO of art.com, t-shirts.com, and cigar.com and developed the technology platforms behind each of those businesses. He also has extensive experience as a technology architect and developer in private practice.

Jorge Zapata, Co-founder & VP Product and Operations has an extensive track record in digital product strategy, development and operations. Jorge has held product management positions at Dotomi, an innovator in multi-channel marketing technology, Google and DoubleClick. Prior to that Jorge worked at Tribune Interactive where he was instrumental in key initiatives including the launch of a nationwide network of mobile news, information and entertainment sites. He also has experience in hands-on development and systems analysis from several boutique technology consulting firms.

Mark Kim, VP Business Development has more than 10 years' experience in digital media. Prior to joining Local Offer Network, Mark was head of business development at Pointroll/ShopLocal, a business unit of Gannett, where he was responsible for successfully driving the company’s local publisher and partner strategies. Previously he managed business development and marketing for Newsday Interactive.
